The Charlotte Singles Golf Association was formed in 1992 . . . the brainchild of a couple of avid golfers, gathered around a dinner table one night, talking about how nice it would be to meet other single people while doing something you enjoy so much.  The group was so successful it led to the national organization—ASGA—in 1996.

During the summer months, we schedule a weekend golf event at least twice a month.  We introduced a “Nine and Dine” format (once a month) for Tuesday evenings, providing a weekday golfing opportunity for those who are busy on the weekend.  After a  round of golf, we usually gather at a local restaurant for a good meal and drinks.  There is a monthly social event or other event based on suggestions from members.

We do lose a few members each year to matrimony, but we invite them back to our big charity event—Tournament for Hospice benefitting Hospice & Palliative Charlotte Region. This event is planned each year as a fundraiser for a local Charlotte, NC charity.

So . . . we golf, we dine, we make friends.  Dues are currently only $30 per year.  Active CSGA members are entitled to participate in our national chapter events as well (see American Singles Golf at www.singlesgolf.com).

If you’re interested in joining the group, you can either download our member application in PDF format or use the "Fill-in" version link at the bottom of this page.
